HOPE Portal – The HOPE Portal is a site developed by Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for finding resources and information about childhood cancer, blood disorders and other rare diseases or conditions. We collect everything in one place, so your search for information is easy.
National Children’s Cancer Society – We serve as a financial, emotional and educational resource for those in need at every stage of illness and recovery. In the United States, we ease the financial burdens that accompany major illness, give crucial support and address the challenges of survivorship.
- Financial Assistance
Cancer Care – CancerCare® provides limited financial assistance to people affected by cancer. As a nonprofit organization, funding depends on the sources of support we receive at any given time. If we do not currently have funding to assist you, our professional oncology social workers will always work to refer you to other financial assistance resources
Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition – CFAC is a coalition of organizations helping cancer patients manage their financial challenges
Give Forward – Start your own fund
Prescription Assistance Program – The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get the medicines they need through the program that is right for them. Many will get their medications free or nearly free.
SAM Fund – The SAMFund is the only nonprofit organization in the country designed to help young adults (YAs) recover from the devastating financial impact of cancer treatment.
- Psychosocial-Emotional Support
Cancer Care – Provide telephone, online and face-to-face counseling, support groups, education, publications and financial and co-payment assistance. Professional oncology social workers offer personalized care, and all of our services are free of charge.
Fuck Cancer – Online community for those struggling with cancer
Cancer Support Community – Provides access to various kinds of emotional cancer support region wide.
